January 08 Encounter (My first one)
There were numerous miraculous manifestations that I experienced. The Prophet of God, Rich Hansen prophesied that the Lord said that everything I was looking for, I would receive that and much more that weekend. That is exactly what happened, for I had asked the Lord prior to that weekend to let me experience and understand the manifestation of His Glory. I found gemstones in my home. At the Encounter, I found a feather, a small flat diamond-like object, and I saw up above the worship team angels lined across and a large vase pouring out gold dust upon the platform. Every time I did not understand something, I asked the Lord, and he explained it. I thought that I was going to find gemstones at the Encounter, but they were in my home. I found 1 on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday..all in different rooms. I was vacuuming my bedroom, and I noticed a small green object on the carpet. This was the Thursday before the Encounter. I picked it up and threw it on my dresser, thinking that it was something that I needed to throw in ther garbage later. On Friday, the speaker mentioned the green stone representing the Apostolic. I gasped, because I knew that what was sitting on my dresser was just that. God confirmed every manifestation.
February 08 Encounter:
This day the Healing Anointing and Power of God was very strong. I went up when Pastor Theresa Phillips called us up to get communion and receive our healing. I was healed from GERD. What I felt was different from what most people say they feel (usually a warm sensation). It felt like my esophagus had been opened up and a cool rush of air flowed through. God is so good, because I believe that He wanted me to be sure that this was His healing me by causing the healing (coolness in the chest) to be the complete opposite of the symptom (burning in the chest). I have not suffered from this illness since that day. Praise the Lord!
Volunteer Meeting - 5/4/08
I was totally surprised, as I had no idea that God was going to heal me on this day or at this meeting. Healing wasn't even on my mind. Pastor Theresa Phillips, under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, called for someone having pain in their back. I was so surprised, but I hurried up to where she was. She laid hands on me, and the power of God went through my body. I laid on the floor for a short while, and started to get up. She immediately told me that I was not done. She touched my back again and proceeded to pray. What I felt was like hands in my back realigning my lower back. I have absolutely no pain, strain, or inflammation in my back. It was instantaneous, not like other times I have received healing over a period of time.
Praise God for His faithfulness and His mighty power!!
Note: I also ate some manna at this meeting.
Pastor Theresa, thank you for your obedience to the call of God on your life. My life has not been the same. There is so much more, and I want all God has for me.

I just want you to know that you carry the strong anointing of God that I Am healed with resentment toward my husband because he was layed off work for several years now,
Iwould always say word that I thought would help him to be motivated least I know it made him more discouraged and felt like he is less Christian,Saturday after the service I know I caught the anointing I know then I was healed.When I went to bed I heard a gentle whisper to put my right hand on his head without saying anything in prayer,he was sleeping that time.He slept soundly which lately before this he would be tossing in bed and would ended sleeping on the couch in the living room which he felt comfortable.Now, I observed he is resting more at night than ever and there is joy in him . and as for me, the Lord totally and completely changed my heart as loving my husband as it used to be, there is no resentment, no shame.I know it,s not only strong anointing but what I caught is the glory of God, I can't describe it with word, something I can't explained,
but even in my work place when I went to work, the following evening I was so fresh and energetic with my mind so alert and sound up to the end of my shift, I worked 12 hours.I need to explain this, my work is so hectic and so busy and stressful that it affected my body with aches and pain on my shoulder and arms and back but when the fresh anointing came upon me all those aches and pain were gone.
Up to now I am carrying the fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit that I have been aching for the glory of God. I know it's GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bought few books about the glory of God, I've never been this hungry for more of God.I thank God for you as obedient and willing vessel to lay your life for the call of God.

How GOD does this I do not know. But one thing I know for sure GOD does it all you just can't take any credit for it...

I was just at the Last Encounter conference with Matt Sorger. AHHHH!!! Thank you for being faithful and serving God when He called you. After I left I felt I didn't know why I came, but the next day when I woke I was consumed by the Holy Spirit! I had a hard time focusing in class because I just couldn't wait to get home to pray and spend time with God! It has been a long time since I've felt this kind of fire in my life. I BELIEVE IN MIRACLES

Hosting an ENCOUNTER is not an easy task since you must have the duckies in a row.
Speaker to think about musicians to think about and of course the facility and all the meals, but, what I thought of most of all was the people who would most likely attend this event.
I was prophesied over last year that I was to start being a speaker at our own events.
I never thought about it I just obeyed the voice of the Lord.
I set to task to obey and still I was hosting the event I would be speaking at.
It all comes out in stride and many miracles happen.
We have seen the gems the feathers the Manna and all sorts of colors of blissful dust from the realms of GOD
(Not nearly as much as id like to see)
This one in February we had Matt Soreger and Rich Hanson and myself as speakers.
Now the top spot always goes to the main speaker which in this case was Matt Sorger who gave us a riveting explosion of immense persuasion that we can give up something good to get something better .I will take that with me always!
Rich was in the afternoon session challenging us all with the Apostolic Atmosphere we are entering into.
I really felt this ENCOUNTER was truly the best one ever.
I opened this meeting and sensed from the start it would be dynamite and it was!
The worship team had played a song I felt each session needed to be played to open and it brought such unity to the place.
We had the largest turnout ever BUT what is the most amazing to me is the Miraculous Move that GOD does save, He fills with the Holy Sprit and He delivers one from oppression and demonic influence.
That is what happened in these meetings.
From the start GOD was speaking about Healing.
It was laid on my heart to bring communion in for everyone .What happened was incredible!!
We just placed the bowls of pre made communion on the platform. For each move of GOD we took communion for the discernment of the Lord’s will and Body.
Taking Him inside us makes us filled with HIS glory.
That is precisely what happened
Upon receiving emails I have sense learned that many who took this type of communion were healed.
I was fascinated that many grabbed handfuls of the communion to take back to their seats with them.
What has charged my own spirit was that the very sense of the need to commune with GOD making it quite and Encounter with His Majesty
.
Much to my very own surprise what that the people who found bits of gold and small
gems were not their usual ecstatic selves. They were so in an awe moment of His Presence that they took these heavenly treasures back home with them in humility making the gift so much more graceful than ever before.
As I take this time to reflect on what has The Lord Been doing I our region I am certainly struck with a numbness’ of a dimension I have never felt before.
I am literally seeing many lives changed.
I am seeing people set free and SOULS SAVED.
I am filled with the joy of knowing The Church is still very much alive in this region.
And that gives my heart the warmest glow of all.
The team that started 18 months ago has gone under many changes.
We have seen people come and go.
We have been faced with criticism and floundering in many a side.
Yet the core of the heart still exists
It reminds of Jesus Himself who is the Lion of the Judah, Staking his enemy and roaring for HIS pride.
How exciting it has been to be able to be a yes person while still being able to glean from the experience.
Here I host and Speak But I learn so much in the process.
Yes it is worth it all .
I still say yes and we prepare for a great adventure with GOD fulfilling one of His dreams.. To Bring in a sound of the Minstrel Prophet Kim Clement and the great ministry of Lance Wallnau
O I cant wait what will I learn in the process of this one..
Yet the truth be said..Yes I do believe in miracles and we certain many more will come thru this ENCOUNTERS we have With GOD

I went to my first Encounter meeting. (Thanks for the invite Dawn!)
I want to say that it was a much needed time of refreshing. I went in so dry, and during the first session I primarily soaked it up like a sponge. I don't really remember a lot of what was spoken in any of the sessions, but what I _do_ remember were life giving messages.
During one of the first songs, a woman grabbed me by the hand to dance in the area between the platform and the seats. There ended up to be several of us women dancing, either holding hands or hooked together with our arms. We stepped up, raised our hands, and then stepped back, and lowered our hands. Holy Spirit just seemed to teach us this dance to the words of a song that said "Step into the Glory".
I was happy to be able to dance with unity with these sisters that I had just "met". I also was grateful that my usual bodily aches and pains were not preventing me from dancing.
During the second session I felt more at home and ready to worship. I picked up Dawn's tambourine and played it quite awhile. I feel at home with a tambourine in my hand. I picked it up as a child growing up in a pentecostal church. This is my way of warfare worship.
At one time, there was announced that there was a pool (in the spirit) and that we were to walk through it. I felt the power of God and almost went down into that pool.
After Rich Hansen spoke, he invited all to come up for the laying on of hands type prayer. As he laid hands on me, he spoke: "positioning, positioning". I dropped on the floor and soaked awhile.
As I lay there I started see a picture form. Holy Spirit said to concentrate on it. I saw myself as a young child being pushed on a swing. I realized that Papa God was pushing me and He was enjoying see myself happy. We were playing with each other and enjoying each other. Then, I saw myself jump into the arms of Father.
I meditated on that picture and God spoke to me. He said that He wants me to let the child part of me come out more. The child part of me not only knows how to play well, but how to trust well. The child part of me takes risks knowing that Papa will be there, catch her, and not let her get hurt.
The position or placement declaration is still a bit fuzzy, but I'm sure God will reveal it in time. I know one thing: many times I feel like I'm on the outside looking in. I feel like I'm on the outskirts. I get close to being in "the in group", but then I'm not quite there. Maybe the placement word has something to do with that. I'm going to keep praying about that.
The last session was filled with more good praise and worship. I didn't really get to hear much of Matt Sorger, as I had to leave to catch the last train to the city, but one message was really great. He was speaking of how we don't need to bind this and bind that, and get all worked up about fighting the evil one. It tickled me so much that I had to just laugh. I let out a giggle and then ended up having a bit of a belly laugh. ~Yep: The dam had burst!~ 
But wait...there's more!
The next day I was going to go to my church, but I just couldn't get my body to move. I watched Joel Osteen and then went back to sleep. After getting up, I went on the internet to Tess's website and was watching High Five Videos while eating some breakfast. On the way to the shower I ended up speaking in tongues, singing in tongues, and giggling.
In the shower I continued singing and praising God. I began blessing several people, including my landlord as well as others that I could think of.
Then my mind started wandering and I started wondering why I haven't been used more (with my singing abilities). Well..let see... I've sung in funerals. Wait a minute, I sang at both of my dad's funerals. As I dried off and went into my bedroom I just began bawling. At first I thought it was grief, but then I stopped to think: maybe it was more.
I think I've been blaming myself for Dad's death. I didn't lay hands on him enough. I didn't preach to him. I didn't fast enough. And on and on...
I felt like God was saying He loved me and that that was not the case. I prayed that He would help me forgive myself.
I feel like during the time I had at The Encounter had a deep effect on me and helped heal me in different ways.

A CLOUD by Dawn Okpisz
Exodus 19:9 NIV
The LORD said to Moses, "I am going to come to you in a dense cloud, so that the people will hear me speaking with you and will always put their trust in you."
Many times at this Encounter there was a golden haze overhead. Theresa Phillips spoke about golden arrows during the meeting, and some of these arrows showed up in photos. And more than one person saw them. I saw a huge green arrow, about 8-10 feet wide. I also saw a golden cloud above people's heads as they worshipped. As the day progressed, it became more like a mist/dew. I words cannot adequately describe the intensity that we experienced in God's presence.
WAVES OF HEALING
Mark 16:17a & 18b NIV
And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons...they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well."
During the morning session with Pastor Theresa, God released a healing wave. The semi-circle shaped front of the room was filled with people who came forward to receive. I noticed one young man in particular who came forward with what appeared to be his father. I could see their faces from the platform. The father stood near his son and wept loudly, barely able to stand. It looked almost like the father was forcing himself to stay standing. The sheer gratitude and joy on this father's face over his son's salvation and deliverance brought tears of joy to my eyes.
Theresa Phillips and Rich Hanson delivered some of the most powerful messages I have ever heard them preach, and that comes from being part of the Encounter team with them for the past 18 months. They both ministered with such love and grace. I had been struggling with pain in my ears as well as damage to the ear drum and recent hearing loss. In the afternoon session, while Rich Hanson was ministering, I was invited to come down from the platform. There was an open portal in the front of the room. Rich Hanson put his hands on my ears. As Rich prophesied, the power of God touched my ears and I went down to the floor. I continued to feel God's power coursing through my ears FOR THE REST OF THE DAY!
GOD PREPARED THE WAY

Signs & wonders increased in our region prior to this Encounter. I heard reports of communion grape juice turning into wine and communion wafers turning into oil. I had the opportunity to have communion privately with Pastor Theresa the week before The Encounter. A couple days later, while taking communion at my own church, Faith Lutheran, my mouth was filled with oil!
The Wednesday before The Encounter there was a manifestation of gold on the floor in our church, right beneath an angel. This manifestation continued for 2 hours! And by Saturday morning, when the worship team arrived at FONA to set up equipment for the Encounter, pieces of gold were already manifesting all around the room.
GIDEON'S ARMY
Judges 7:4 NIV
4 But the LORD said to Gideon, "There are still too many men. Take them down to the water, and I will sift them for you there. If I say, 'This one shall go with you,' he shall go; but if I say, 'This one shall not go with you,' he shall not go."
We had an incredible journey assembling a worship team. On the day of rehearsal, due to severe winter weather & illness, we only had 3 people present. But on the day of The Encounter, we miraculously had a full worship team of 7! 4 additional members joined the team that day, and it was incredible how the Lord knit us together on the spot. There were many moments I had to stop singing, overcome by the glory of His presence. The team swelled with the sounds of heaven. We had never played together before, and yet God himself brought us into perfect unity and manifested His glory when we would sing "Step Into The Rhythms" by Joshua Mills. The whole assembly became like one giant organism, flowing to the rhythm of the Father's heartbeat, the rhythm of heaven. This continued into the evening when the session began with a prophetic dancer who powerfully interpreted a song about saying "yes" to the Lord. There was not a dry eye in the room.
THE CHILDREN
Matthew 9:14 NIV
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
At the evening session with Matt Sorger, my 10 year old son was sitting in near the front, right behind Pastor Theresa and next to Pastor Desiree Lamphier. Matt gave away several CD's and teaching materials as gifts. One was a teaching set called The Spirit Of Awakening. Matt asked if anyone needed it. My son raised his hand and shouted, "Yes!" And Matt immediately gave it to him! I can't tell you how this thrilled my son. The very next day my 10 year old son listened to the first CD and insisted that the whole family must hear it. Then he insisted he must tell everyone he knows about it.
At the same evening session, my 12 year old daughter, who was sitting in the back with some of the musicians, began to get silver glory dust all over her black hooded sweatshirt. It kept increasing until it was on both the outside and the inside of her shirt! She was so amazed that she wore that same sweatshirt for 3 days straight, because the glory dust continued to manifest.

Folks, we have stepped over into something incredible. Indescribable. The Lord keeps impressing on my heart that we haven't even begun to see the amazing things God wants to do. The one thing He keeps telling me, the one thing I must continue to declare is this:

“Hello; how did you hear about the Encounter?” It was an off the cuff question I asked guests during the day. One person told me they saw the Encounter on the Chicago Prophetic Voice website and wanted to come and enjoy the atmosphere. Others said they were looking at Matt Sorger’s website and saw he was coming to St Charles. Still another person would tell me they heard about the Encounter from a friend or they lived in Chicago and a relative told them about the Encounter and they wanted to see for themselves.
This ever growing, ever changing Encounter is bringing people into a place where they are touched by God. This window to heaven, an open portal of visitation, is transforming God’s Children. On Saturday, many people were impacted, energized and set a blaze for Jesus! What a joy to see God’s Children drinking living water and being fed spiritual food, meat, and empowering them to reach the Lost in Chicagoland! From the first song sung by the Worship team, until the last trump of the shofar, the atmosphere was charged spiritually.
Growing as they go!
We are living in days where people ask, either out loud or in their hearts; “Where are true Men and Women of God?” As God was with Abraham, as God was with Jacob, as God was with Joseph, God is with Pastor Theresa and Richard Hanson. We all need people who have gone before us and show us the path, lay down an example and they are two leaders in the Faith. Each new move of God there is a cutting edge and they are on it. Being fore runners for God is a certainty formula for opposition and trials. Pastor Theresa and Richard have used these times to grow in their walk with Jesus. In their growth, they call us to new places and to come higher in our own Christian walk. In the fire of afflictions comes treasures greater than Gold. Yet, there focus is always on Jesus and challenging us to thirst for more of Him.
It is caught and taught, to go higher in Jesus means going lower in self! To become the most is to be the least. In the message of drawing nearer to God, they will show you humility and a heart of worship for the Lord. That is Revival! What we need as individuals and as Americans. The goal for them; is for you to experience Jesus and the Holy Spirit for yourself. To have a Glory experience that no one can tell you anything different. For you to see there is so much more in our Christian life to have in Jesus than God in the Box we know. To receive God’s love that satisfies our souls. When you know our Shepard intimately like this, you are tapped into Him and Led by God and He shows you how to go and where to go and our needs to grow. That is the Goal!
Worship Pursuing Gods Heart
Dawn Okpisz is the Lead worshipper for the Encounters. Accompanied by a host of musicians and singers, they usher us into the Heart of Worship. The joy that fills our souls as we lift our hearts with them and focused on Jesus is the right combination. The environment of praise ushers in the presence of the Holy Spirit to abide with us. An intersection of Heaven and Earth happens here. I extend my appreciation to the Worship team as my heart is lifted up in songs of Praise.

The evening speaker was Matt Sorger! His focus was on empowering the Sheep to reap a harvest. http://www.mattsorger.com/ A Man after God’s own heart, he pursues God with all he has! I watched and listened to Matt and saw it was Matt Plus! There were two of them up there. It was Matt and it was the Holy Spirit with Matt. In the same place in the same space, in different realms, they ministered to the Sheep of God. Matt had a message that was to come a little later, however, when he was looking inward to the Spirit, he spoke from his heart and spoke to where we were. When he had completed that message, he took us to crossing the Jordan River of our lives. For me, he spoke directly. Having had many trials and tribulations along my journey, it was all preparation events for crossing the Jordan into our promised land! Being an experiential Christian, God was confirming to me in many ways my need for letting it all go; step into the water leaving it behind, for what God has been preparing me for. As Matt challenged, my heart held onto my right to expect! Finally, Matt, looking into my section, raised his one eyebrow, with a deep gaze, asked if I was ready to let it go to cross over to a new beginning. Yes! Something within me released and I knew I could let go of all the stuff the journey brings to gain what is ahead.
Matt shared with us that he was a Pastor for five years and loved the position. His caring and nurturing flowed from his Pastoring heart. Now, his love is to blow the Sheep up in the presence of the Holy Spirit and take the top of the Box of forever. He knows when people experience God in the supernatural realm all kinds of wonderful things happen and it is the passion of his heart to see the Sheep experience their God.
Encounter
Pastor Theresa’s heart is led by God to create a place where He can come and visit His Children. She brings into the region anointed Ministers who carry a mantle for spiritual exchange. Where those who are hungering for more of God in their life can come and allow the Ministers to pray for them to receive more. It happens! In Acts 19, Paul asks a group of men if they had received the Holy Spirit yet. Paul, being in a place of God, imparted a gift of the Holy Spirit to the group of men. That’s what happens in the Encounters. People, Children of God come to receive an impartation of more of Him. Now don’t think I am saying the only place you can come to receive more of God is here. That is not my total focus; however, in the atmosphere of the Encounters, the environment is ripe to catch your hearts desire for more of Jesus.

What a blessing.
THE Encounter is the right title for this event for truly we encountered the awesomeness of God. At the hotel I sat in a chair closed my eyes and prayed " God I know what Rev.
Phillips has been putting on her web site are your manifestations, but Father is this my time?
Is this for me NOW" When I stood up to get ready for the meeting I saw something on my right shoulder. When I picked it off and looked at it I began to be overwhelmed with emotion. On my shoulder was the most delicate feather I have ever seen.
God sent an angel to tell me YES this is for you, YES this is your time NOW is the time for all people to come into the fullness of the Glory of God. During Encounter 2008 I was healed of asthma and taken to heavenly realms. During the meeting on Sunday, I saw visions of fire dancing on people's heads as the Spirit fell on them. God showed me a vision of broken hearts that had steel guards over them. Hearts broken from abuse, rejection, word curses and much more, but HE began melting the steel with HIS love so his children could receive HIS healing power to restore the heart of stone to a heart of flesh. The glory of God went with us back to our hotel.
There was gold dust on our clothes that were hanging in the closet. When we walked into the hotel we became drunk in the Spirit for over an hour we could not stop laughing. Our flight out of Chicago was 6 hours late due to a visit by President Bush and tornados.
As we walked through the airport praying in the Spirit God's glory fell on us again and we were covered in gem dust and again the laughter broke out for about an hour. What a wonderful Encounter with my Lord and Savior.
I am very grateful for Rev. Phillips' vision and dedication. This event was not an easy feat but because of her faithfulness to her Lord many lives were touched and changed forever. We have been ruined for the ordinary.... Personally I want to walk in the "extraordinary" every day... God's word tells us "Without a vision, men will perish" Because of the vision God has given Rev. Phillips, and her dedication to follow it through, Chicago will never be the same. I urge you to pray for this ministry and ask God how he want you to sow into Encounter 2008.

THE ENCOUNTER, JAN. 4, 5 & 6, 2007

BATTERY POWERED
On Wednesday, Jan. 2nd, Pastor Robert Phillips brought their church's sound system over to my house so we could test & sort equipment. They had a brand new, cordless mic. I opened it up to find the battery compartment. Hand held mics typically use a 9 volt battery. However, I was surprised to find this one required two AA batteries. So I checked the instruction manual and sure enough, it used two AA batteries. On Thursday, Jan. 3rd, I called Pastor Theresa Phillips to make sure her husband Robert purchased the right size batteries. She insisted the music store owner told her to buy 9 volts, but I told her even the instruction manual said to use two AA's. By that time it was almost 7pm and I was late for a worship team rehearsal at my church.
After rehearsal, I decided to check the battery size one more time, just to be sure. This time I grabbed two AA batteries so I could test it. I unscrewed the microphone, and as I was holding it in my palm, a bright white 1 1/2 inch feather suddenly appeared INSIDE the battery compartment. This feather was not there 3 hours before. In fact, the feather was not there the moment I opened it, but it manifested as I was holding it in my hand. It startled me so much that I shouted and my heart started racing. Although it was after 10pm, I ran upstairs to wake up my husband, and then I phoned Pastor Theresa (she is a night owl) to tell her what happened!
CHARGED & READY
I asked the Lord about the meaning of the feather in the battery compartment. He said that we are like rechargeable batteries! When we plug into Him, He fills us with His presence & power. Then He reminded me that this particular microphone was going to be used by ALL the speakers for The Encounter...what wonderful encouragement from the Lord!
THE EARTH TREMBLES
Acts 4:31 Amplified Bible
And when they had prayed, the place in which they were assembled was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they continued to speak the Word of God with freedom and boldness and courage.
For a couple weeks prior to The Encounter, I would wake up to a sensation of my bed trembling. I myself wasn't shaking, but it's like I could feel almost like an earthquake tremor beneath me. Then is started happening under my feet when I was standing, and even at times when I was sitting at the piano worshipping. I could actually feel the floor shift beneath me.
Psalm 114:7 NTL
"Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Israel."
This manifestation continued at The Encounter. I literally felt the floor move beneath my feet. I even continued to experience this manifestation a week later. I asked others what they thought God might be saying through these tremors, and one person replied that the tremors indicate God's power is on the move. Wow!
PROPHECY AND ANGELS RELEASED
Friday afternoon Paulette Horvath led the opening session for The Encounter. The tapes that were ordered to use for personal prophetic words did not arrive in time. Consequently, I borrowed a box of cassettes from our church. As Paulette began to prophesy, I loaded the tape recorder. Somehow in the process, I ended up being the one holding the tape recorder for Paulette. It was an amazing experience to assist her and see people respond to the word of the Lord. At one point Paulette turned and prophesied over me, and I fell to the floor. As I was lying there, I could see gold dust begin to manifest under the chair next to me. That was just the beginning of the glory manifestations....and I will share more about them later.
Friday night, my husband and I received encouraging words from Jeremy Lopez & Dr. Johann Schonken regarding our current ministry and our recent move. My husband was so encouraged that he immediately listened again to the prophetic words on tape the minute we got home.
Saturday afternoon, my voice was tired from ministering, so instead of joining the team for supper, I decided to go home and rest. Not only did I want to go home, but I felt like I HAD to go home.
The moment I walked in the door, my 10 year old son ran up to greet me. He said that daddy (senior pastor at our church) was busy writing his sermon for Sunday morning, so he was not available to bring the family back to The Encounter Saturday night. But my son really wanted to go. You can imagine the family's surprise when I walked in the door. At that point I knew why God wanted me home for supper.
On Saturday night, God moved the assembly into corporate repentance. Although I was still ministering at the keyboard, my 10 year old son chose to sit by himself in a chair in the front row. God touched him so powerfully that he slipped down out of his chair and onto his hands & knees on the floor, weeping. I did not see this happen. By the time I was finished at the keyboard and was able to join him, I noticed he had been crying. He said that this was the most incredible experience he ever had with God and he would not have wanted to miss it! A woman sitting near us asked if he was OK, and we both replied that he was fantastic!
Later that evening, my son went up for ministry. He went to Desiree Lamphier and as she ministered, she began to sway/rock back and forth under the anointing. This disturbed my son and he decided that he did not want to stay up front. So I talked with him about this privately, reminding him that sometimes I shake under the anointing. He rememebered. Then I said God's doing it and it's OK. He felt better about it and went back to her for ministry. I am so glad he did, because she had accurate words about the struggles he's been having in his new school. Then she instructed me how to pray for him and we prayed over the situation together. Afterwards, he chattered excitedly about what happened.
But the greatest surprise came when we left the room. My son suddenly turned to me and said he had a word from the Lord for HER! He didn't ask me about it or say he MIGHT have a word for her, he said with full confidence that he had a word for her. I sensed God wanted him to go deliver this word on his own, so I asked him if he was OK going to Desiree without me. He said yes.
Later, Desiree approached me, with my son, and told me how accurate his word was. In fact, she had only received this word from one other person, and she was waiting for confirmation from the Lord about it. Then over the course of the next hour my son had opportunity to ask various experienced people lots of questions about hearing from God. It was a wonderful training opportunity for him.
On the way home, my son saw 4 angels in the car for the first time. He asked me why they were there, and I in turn asked Jesus to tell him. He got really excited when Jesus immediately answered him, as he was unaccustomed to hearing God's voice so clearly.
The next morning at our own church, my son saw 4 more angels, and a purple portal open up right where my husband began to minister. In fact, my husband had my son share his testimony from the night before, and then he asked several children to come forward because there was an open portal. He then had these children pray for a man with heart problems. By his next doctor's visit (the following week), this man's arteries were clear and his heart was doing much better...glory to God! Also, on the way home from church on Sunday, my son saw 4 more angels. By the time I returned to The Encounter Sunday night, my son had seen a total of 12 angels!
Not only that, but one of our young adults who has really been searching and struggling and seeking God began to get glory dust manifestations all over his shirt after church on Sunday. He and his girlfriend were blown away. Please remember, we were at our church, a different church in the same town that morning, not at The Encounter. And yet the impartations that were happening at The Encounter were also affecting our church! I personally believe this is happening because Pastor Theresa answered God's call to bring people together and promote unity in the body of Christ in our region. I also believe that is why we are seeing glory clouds, a mist in the air, and oil manifestations...
Psalm 133:1-3 NIV
How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron's beard, down upon the collar of his robes. It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the LORD bestows his blessing, even life forevermore.
MORE GLORY MANIFESTATIONS
FONA International, the company that provided the meeting room for us, had just built a new platform for the worship team, and was in the process of installing a house sound system. The platform was wooden, and brand new and perfectly clean. We even saw them vacuum the room as we began to unload our sound system. By the end of the meeting on Friday night, so much glory dust manifested on the platform, that there were pieces of silver, gold, ruby dust, sapphire & diamond dust all over the floor and music stand. By Saturday night it had increased, and by Sunday night it was settling down in between the grooves of the wooden platform. Even after The Encounter, I continued to find bits of glory dust embedded in the monitor speakers & various other pieces of equipment.
I saw a green portal open up at The Encounter, along with a flash of lightning over someone's head. A couple of times there was a haze/mist accompanied by other flashes of light. Angels were seen, heard and felt all throughout The Encounter, and some of them even showed up in photos.
On Saturday night the kids were all over the floor finding manifestations that fell to the floor. My son went back and forth between me and the other children, collecting whatever he could find of glory dust and small pieces of silver.
Some of us experienced supernatural oil manifestations on our hands, and one of the singers had such hot hands that Pastor Theresa ran up and grabbed her during ministry time and had her lay hands on people as they lined up in front.
The manifestations of heat were the most amazing to me. It would come in waves. Some people experienced supernatural translation for the first time too.
CHOSEN
1 Peter 2:9 NIV
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
The Lord gave me this scripture, followed by a new song called CHOSEN during the women's retreat in the fall of 2007. Although I used this song at that retreat, the Lord did not release to use the song again...that is until The Encounter. On Saturday morning, He finally released me to use this song because He was calling people to rise up and fulfill their destinies in Christ. This theme continued as Rich Hanson and Jeremy Lopez ministered together on Saturday morning.
THE LION IS AWAKE!
On Saturday afternoon, Pastor Theresa began to spontaneously sing..."In the jungle, the mighty jungle, the lion sleeps tonight..."
To which I responded..."Ah, ah, ah, ah....."
Everyone laughed. Then she sang again, "In the jungle, the mighty jungle, the lion sleeps tonight..."
To which I responded..."Ooh..wee..." More laughter...
Then she shared that the lion is not sleeping! It was another wake up call to God's glory and the move of the Spirit. It was a powerful message indeed, and the picture taken of Pastor Theresa while she shared this message was even more powerful...a golden glory manifestation showed up all around her that looked like fire, and the word TRUTH supernaturally manifested up on the powerpoint screen.
Now you must know I personally edited much of the text to be put on powerpoint, and I worked directly with the volunteer who prepared the slides. There was no blank slide with the word TRUTH in the middle of it, and yet that word manifested in the photo!
TRANSPARENCY
Sunday morning, in the midst of this amazing weekend, my husband and I were called into his office and had to deal with a difficult situation. To my surprise, my feelings were hurt and I had trouble shaking off what felt like a spiritual attack.
Sunday night, I arrived at The Encounter in a somber mood. Everyone else there was so excited about God, but I was sad and discouraged over the difficult situation we had to face that morning. I could not get focused. As I began to lead worship, I couldn't even remember how to play the songs. I was on the verge of tears. Finally, I broke down and told the assembly that I had to deal with a difficult situation that morning, and that I was feeling discouraged.
To my amazement, Pastor Theresa rose up and asked all of the leaders to come lay hands on me and pray over me. And then she began to shout out something about respecting leaders and not touching the Lord's anointed. Before long, I was on the floor, sobbing. Worship ended and Rich Hanson began to speak. I could feel someone cover my head and body with worship flags, and I just stayed there on the floor, crying, and letting God heal my hurt.
After awhile, I sat up. The MOMENT my face was wiped off, Rich Hanson asked if I would go back to the keyboard and play while he ministered.
What a picture of redemption! I felt so humiliated by falling apart in front of the whole assembly that way, and yet God in His grace used that brokenness and got me back up at the keyboard. Then God revealed to me that not just once, but twice that night He used that transparent moment to usher inner healing, physical healing and deliverance from demonic oppression for several people. He also told me He was not surprised by what happened, but that He knew all along how He was going to move in that meeting...

9But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.
OIL OF HEAVEN
Not only did supernatural oil manifest on people's hands as they ministered, but Jeremy Lopez also prophesied on Saturday that the Oil Of Heaven was being released to people with dry skin, brittle hair, and baldness. He specifically said this was being released for the women. Although I could feel oil manifesting on my head in the natural, I didn't think much of it because I didn't have dry skin or baldness.
Sunday morning, I styled my hair as usual, but I noticed my hair was flipping in various directions more than it usually does. Also, the condition of my hair was much smoother than it had been. You see, for two years, I actually did struggle with dry, brittle hair. I used to have naturally wavy hair, but it had become so brittle due to hormone changes that I had to style it straight for almost 2 years.
Tuesday, after The Encounter, I washed my hair and let it air dry. To my amazement, the curls returned! Hair that had been straight and damaged for 2 years was once again healthy, wavy, and even shiny!!! Many people noticed the change this week. Pastor Theresa even has before & after pictures...  Curles a girly Girl now lol
I think the most powerful part of The Encounter is how God continues to accelerate move in a powerful way. It isn't a one-time event, but is a place where people receive impartations, and then go and do likewise and spread the good news!
And it truly is good news! For our God is always good and abounding in love, and He wants to restore every person into an intimate relationship with Jesus...
So we continue to pray, "thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven!"

A short testimony from friday around 1/4/08,
Jeremy Lopez prophecied to me re: my being a woman of plentiful and multiplication. And that the .......(situation) I am undergoing is not my fault. That God was resurrecting and redecorating in my life, and doing healing. The prophetic word said I would come out ahead after the .......(situation), which also filled me with hope and imparted more joy. Also, that God would grant salvation and something of great value to my house. And that there was intense warfare over my house. All this is true.
Much of the prophetic word is happening now and coming into fruition; the rest, I am waging warfare on with my prophetic words over the years. I also got a copy of Jennifer Busa's special operations manual warfare prayers, and that helped immensely, just seeing, recognizing and speaking out against the hindrances in the unseen world.
The next morning after the prophetic (Saturday) I redecorated my room, moved furniture, then went to the rest of the conference; I was not at all tired to have done that. In general, I have felt much more peace and the intensity of God's presence in worship and have burst thru a level of humiliation that plagued me, even in God's presence. I am speaking into the lives of others.
Another part of the prophetic word was that my job/employment was drying up. My teaching job seems to be going to part time by June, and there are many issues coming up with the Director... I am looking to God to encourage, inspire and guide. thanks to Him and y'all.
